Jack Jubb with Adomas Narkevičius
25.01.2025
Saturday, 25th January, 3pm
RSVP essential, limited capacity
Join artist Jack Jubb and curator Adomas Narkevičius for a tour of Later Works, the London-based artist's ambitious first solo exhibition of sculptural work. The tour will delve into Jubb's digital and material processes, including techniques such as digital drawing, DIY 3D printing, and faux patination. The conversation will explore themes such as the 'poor image' in sculpture, the status of the 'miniature' object, and the influence of gamer vernacular on the modernist visual language of Later Works. The discussion will also touch on questions of solitude and loneliness, counterfeiting, mythmaking, and countercultural references, offering insights into the broader stakes of Jubb's practice and the interplay between painting and sculpture.
The tour will last 30-40 minutes, followed by a semi-informal audience Q&A. For full details about access follow the link here. If you have any additional access needs or questions about the tour, please contact Annabelle Mödlinger: annabelle [at] cellprojects [dot] org.
