British artist Bryan Dooley reappropriates imagery by printing it on powdered aluminium, fabric, or other materials, disconnecting and formalising it from its original context, leaving only its aesthetic qualities. In his work the imagery often interacts with a sculptural object prompting questions of meaning, context, and equality of image and object.
