Arcola Northside

Cell Studios has acquired a new lease for 23-27 Arcola Street E8, a former Victorian factory building, recently partly housing the Arcola Theatre, and now being converted to studio workshops for artists and designers
This means 18000 sq ft of new artists studios ready now. The studios are available by application by submitting your cv / weblinks / practice description to studios@cellprojects.org then visiting and viewing
The Victorian factory building retains many of its time worn original characteristics within the range of studios we have built - concrete floors, high ceilings, Victorian factory windows, exposed brick and steel work. In addition to these features, Cell has added a new heating system, roof terrace, intercom / entry system, tea points, internet via CAT5 and fibre optic wifi, as well as feature vintage lighting in lobbies and key areas.
This is Cells second existing Arcola Street building, with 4-8 Arcola Street having offered artists and designers of all types very solid, long term workspace, for 10 years to date, and forming the cornerstone of the creative hub Cell seeded and nurtured in this location. The new Arcola Northside studios Cell is creating will offer workspace to around 80+ creative’s.
